As Wendell Berry once said,“The Earth is what we all have in common”. Today is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. It is not surprising if this important milestone in the climate action movement is not top-of-mind given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. What may surprise you is the ancient Greek origin of the word pandemic, pandēmos, which literally translates to all (pan) people (dēmos).
